No asset class is beyond their reach. There must always be a crisis du jour that only they can save us from. I'm sick of 'em!

Between politics & the damned drought, am in one big-arse funk!

At least the drought delivers what it promises.

I agree.....pitiful. Market tanks today. No good news anywhere in this place...... Frankly, not even all the old toxic assets have been taken care of. If we go back into recession, we will again have to deal with that mess along with all the new stuff. European central bank buys bonds but forgets that Italy and Spain are the new ones in trouble.....not that we want them to get off the hook so easily but man...

Alex,

When this madness does end, it won't be pretty.

Sorry to be a pain, but I don't see how people can give Obama all the blame for this mess.

Not that I think he's doing the job that he should be doing, but if you look carefully at what's been going on, he's been the only one giving up his principles to get something done.

Someone has to tell the Tea Party people that you can't run a country strictly on the religion of an ideology. We see what that does for state religion countries, or are we that blind?

Thomasso me-man I thoroughly agree but he being the supreme leader it behooves him to hold the reins very tightly. WW

Verne,

He's a wuss when it comes to being in the lead.

Hey, if you ever get over to Scottsdale for lunch, stop in at the Vermont Sandwich Co. Ask for Dave Spangler--he's the owner and an old friend of mine form the Finger Lakes. If you mention my name, he might even treat you like a good customer...
