HI-I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE WOULD BE ABLE TO GIVE ME THE APPROXIMATE VALUE OF A BOTTLE OF TAITTINGER COMES DE CHAMPAGNE BLANC DE BLANCS 1964 BRUT 13/16 QUART IMPORTED BY KOBRAND CORP NY NY. THE BOTTLE IS FILLED PAST THE SHOULDER JUST UP TO THE START OF THE NECK, AND IN VERY NICE SHAPE. IT STILL HAS THE "EPLUCHAGE" TAG ATTACHED TO THE UPPER LABEL. ANY INFORMATION WILL BE HELPFULL. THANKS.

Hi VinnyG and welcome to the board. Not sure about the 64 but the 78 is 650 and the 61 575. If you're thinking about the value to sell this bottle be prepared to give the complete provenance on the bottle. Single bottles of any but the rareist of wines are almost impossible to sell. Good luck. WW

While 64 was a delightful year in Champagne, the wine is well beyond its prime........
