2000 Vinedos Agapito Rico, Carchelo, Jumilla (DDO)[$9 Is-Wine]. Composition is 50% Monastrell (Mourvedre), 30% Tempranillo, and 20% Merlot. Wonderful value. Has a hue that you'd expect with these three grapes; very seductive. Nice red fruit on nose and up front. A little spice, and very smooth and chewy tannin across the palate with a pleasant finish. Matched well with boiled fillet steaks.

Actually saw a sign for steamed hamburgers in a diner last week. However these tender pieces of commissary cow were broiled.

It was down in CT which is closer to thee than me. Did have a good breakfast of Kielbasa and eggs, not just a big round hunk with the eggs, but sort of cut julienned, with old fashioned home fries with onions. Mmmm good.
