It's been a long travel week, traveling back and forth over NA, so no real time for anything. Dropped my bags down today and decided I was worthy of this..

Very nice, I like Islay not so much for their peatiness but the interest it brings to the scotch...though not too much of it. This thing has a masculine nose, full, almost ripe orange peel, toffee, caramel, and a nice line of smokiness. In the mouth, there is almost a creamy sensation, followed shortly by the smoky, caramelly, cigar, etc, Super long length and persistence. I like it!

I was at the store the other day as I was in the area. Gonna hafta use your Scotch knowledge one of these days. There are a lot of bottles that looked interesting up on the shelves. (not home this weekend but might be next weekend!)
