Light amber--darker at rim. Caramel and coffee nose and palate. A bite or heat from the alcohol. Less sweet than the Buller Victoria Tawny I had recently. Paired quite well with "Dylan's cake," a restaurant dessert of chocolate fudge cake with raspberry coulis, whipped cream and white chocolate ice cream.
