Depends on the bottling; vintage, age (10,20 years etc), tawny or ruby, etc.

Where is KC... Sandeman!?! Absolutely love the 20yr tawny! It's my hubby's fav... and I'm quite partial. We polished a bottle off at KC's a year or so back.

I visited their cellars (?) in Oporto last year and came away rather impressed with their stuff! I love their 20 year old tawny's too but their vintages are really nice.

Sandeman rubies haven't been much since the '70's IMO. Prefer a Taylor-Flagate LBV (other than the '99) at the $20 point.

I'm a bit partial to tawnies, and I like the 20 year olds because they show more complexity that the 10 and aren't as expensive as the 30 or 40. Besides the Sandeman's, I also like the Barros, Taylor Fladgate and Cockburn's. For a lot less money you can also try the ones from South Africa (KWV and Paarl) and Australia (Clocktower and Whiskers Blake).
