I moved this from wines without a category where I posted incorrectly.
Looking for recommendations for QPR and available Sauternes,Semillon,Tokaji or Botrytis wines. We're flying to the Fort Walton Beach/Destin Florida area on 2/16 and have already sent ahead 8 bottles of wine with my parents and would like to take a couple of nice dessert wines that won't break the bank. This is our 8th. visit to the area and it's not a very wine friendly location.

Once again, lead my rips, Bonny Doon Vineyard, Muscat Vin de Glaciere, 375 ml. If we can get it here, you should be able to there. If not, www.wine.com will rush it to you.

Drew, for QPR, the Montinore (Oregon) White Riesling Late Harvest is an enjoyable wine for under $10.

You didn't mention sherry, but if you like REALLY stickies, a good QPR to try is Emilio Lustau Pedro Ximenez 'San Emilio' Jerez Sherry at $14-16. It's sweeter than an olorosa...thick stuff...raisins, brown sugar, etc.

Let us know what you try down there. cp
