I'm honored to have a Zin from this fine producer named after moi. Brite med ruby. Loads of berry fruit, some spiciness and a touch of vanilla on the nose. In the mouth all come over and the 16% alc isn't noticiced at all. Tongue-coating fruit but balanced in an atypical zin way. Far more claret-like than zin-blaster. Was perfect with the Chicken-Turkey/basil/feta sausages. Likable juice. 88. Part of the 05 shipment.16% alc. WW

Agree with ww all the way. Had a half bottle tonight with sauteed marinated beef tips, polenta, and green beans almondine. Excellante!!! The other half tomorrow after the Barbera.

This was our second Thanksgiving Dinner wine today. All three of us loved it. Happy Thanksgiving.
