Guess my original post on this piece of work was over a year ago so reposting on this killer Zin. From The Rockpile Road Vineyard in Dry Creek Valley, this is one HUUUGIE bunch of juice. Smoothing down with another year in bottle, the massive fruit is still there but the hard tannins have softened immensly making the 14.7% alky seem like a kiss. A strong center coupled with a 4-lapper finish puts this sucker on course to hit the major leagues. Don't run out and search for this as there was less than 400 cases produced. Looking desperately for the 2001 model 91/90 WW

All of her Zins are monsters -- full-blown style that is fun sometimes.
