- tandkvd - 11-14-2003 The wife and I haven't been out to eat in awile, due to work, school and a tite budget. So tonight we splurged and went to Red Lobster. We both had the coconut shrimp w/pinucolada sauce. I was realy wanting some wine with dinner and I reluctantly choose the Fetzer Sauvignon Blanc. I was thinking California white wine..... oak bomb. Now this is only the second SB I've had so I don't have much to go on. It wasn't as good as the one I had from NZ, But it was suprizenly good with the shrimp. There was definatly the presence of oak but not bad at all. So glad you went "outside the box". Sometimes the world out there can surprise you! |
