Purchased a bottle of Topolos Zinfandel Ultimo 1993 several years ago. My Husband thinks we have a real find here and refuses to let me open it... Not knowing a thing about wines.... is it worth a lot of money? will it only get better with age, or is now the time to enjoy it? Thanks!

Hi Ann, and welcome to the Wine Board. It is worth around $12 at most. It may not even be worth drinking. I would open it as soon as possible, and have something else in reserve.

Ten years is an awful long time for a Topolos Zin. Open it and pray. With any luck it just might be OK.

Thanks everyone for your responses! Seems like we paid almost $30 for the bottle, guess that's why he thinks its a rare one, or so he was told. I'll let you all know what we find when we pop the cork!
