Picked up at Vintage Wines last time I was in San Diego.
15.4% alcohol
A blend of 17 vineyards, many over 60 years old and including Dusi.
Deep purple color with brownish cast.
Attractive nose once it warmed up to room temperature. Fresh, young taste of red berries with some jammy qualities. Long-lived but slightly drying finish. It seemed that the more brething time, the longer the finish and it also held up well recorked and refrigerated for a second and third day.
Paired it one evening with beef and macaroni, another evening with small sirloin and baked potato and for a lunch with beef and barley soup.
Next up is the Rosenblum Oakley Vineyards Zinfandel that Drew wrote up.

WOW was that you're first TJ wine?

I believe it was, IK. I was thinking I may have had a glass of a TJ Zin at a DC restaurant but looking at my notes, that one was a Peachy Canyon "Incredible" Zinfandel. WW has also reported on the Peachy Canyon one.
