Villa Andriana Vineyard
A concentrated zin. Dense, boardering on syrupy. Spicy, brambly fruit with red berry overtones and dark cherry. Finishes long with hints of toffee which are also detecable on the nose. Nice wine and loved by all. 14.2% Alc/vol. $25

Drew,

What are you eating at the shore with all those Zinfandels?

Whatever it is, sounds like you are in Zin heaven!

Heartbrand beef flanksteak, bacon wrapped sirloin rounds, grilled wild Alaskan salmon so far. Also enjoyed the Summers with a cheese plate late last night on the deck with guests. It's been lots of fun so far.

I'm crushed! I'd be up to my ear-balls in crabs, mussels, and all them other fishie types. Heck-Fire there sailor, I can git all of them beefy thingies here in the sticker patch. SHEESH!!!!! WW

We had crab cakes last night with very, very good corn, tomatoes and a grilled veggie salad. Served with a Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc. Ocean City does not have a fisherman's market any more although there are many commercial boats here. It's a conspiracy between the restaurants and the fishing industry. Now if we go inland a little there are nice "fishy" offerings at fair prices.
