- Van The Man - 05-01-1999 1992 Wermuth Vineyards Zinfandel; Napa Valley - $9.50 Pale color, almost light bodied in appearance. Very raisiny nose with lots of cracked peppercorn. In the mouth, acceptable yet still too pruney and raisiny. Short, uninteresting and rather pithy. It’s drinkable but not something I’d ever spend $10 on again. - Bucko - 05-05-1999 Boy! Are you hanging out with Marshall in the bargain bins? Bucko - Thomas - 05-06-1999 Pithy? The first time I have ever seen that word used in relation to wine -- interesting. - Jerry D Mead - 05-06-1999 Foodie...Really?! What about all those New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs which are famous for being "cat pithy""...pardon my lithp... Curmy - Bucko - 05-06-1999 "cat pithy" *************** Ba da boom, now go to your room!
