Any ideas for pork loin with stewed prunes?

Normally with pork I go for Riesling or Pinot Noir, but throw in the stewed prunes and I'm not so sure. Maybe a Cote du Rhone.

Agree with Wow, the stewed prunes would add a new dimension to an otherwise simple pairing issue. A Pinot Noir with cranberry notes might work; two recent ones in my house were the Kenwood and the Estancia, both around $10-$12. Would be interesting though to try a pruney Barbera d'Alba, or even an Amarone, depending on your druthers that day.

BTW, had the Estancia last night with grilled pork loin & veggies. Very nice.
