Served after the 7 Deadly Zins below.
This one was a little closed upon opening but within 20 minutes was showing well. Displays the red berry side of zin. Elegant red raspberry and dark cherry flavors with hints of spice, specifically oriental 5 spice, and vanilla. One of our 3 guests preferred this style over the jammy style. While a little less complex than the 7 Deadly Zins, it boasted a longer finish. I liked both. 14.9% Alc/vol. $16

Drew,
I live near Lodi...you seem to taste a lot of Lodi Zin. If you get a chance, taste Klinkerbrick's Old Vine Zinfandel. It's one of my favorites...this is a newer winery that doesn't have a tasting room. The wine is available locally but not sure about distribution elsewhere.

Many California wineries buy their Zinfandel grapes from the Lodi area...(or Amador, another great Zin region).
