This is always on the top end of every vintage of zins released in Calif and this is surely no exception. Brite ruby color. The field blend of 70% zin, 17% Petite Sirah, 10% Carignane, and 3% Martaro produces a richly layered wine with loads of character. I've found over the years the Lytton Springs Zins will age with some of the best of the Sonoma Cabs. Killer fruit, spices, balanced oak, soft tannins, and great winemaking will allow this zin to reach a peak in 4-10 tears. Good stuff. 93/90. 30 by the box. 14.5% alc. WW
