A couple weeks back I opened a bottle of Ravens Wood Lodi 2003 with dinner. It was one of the best bottles I've had in a while. When I discovered it only cost me $10 a bottle on sale to replace the empty with 2006 vintage, it was even better. The wine was smooth, flavorful and an aroma that said enjoy me. It drank well with my porterhouse, hashbrowns, and asparagus at one of Minneapolis' better steakhouses.

Hey PE, Nice to see this post. I totally agree on the QPR thing. Makes it also and easy restaurant order when you don't want to spend large on clients and still get a nice glass.

Good notes. Will definately take a look at this hummer tomorrow. Am completely out of daily zin drinkers. Sounds like a "fill the bill" bottle to moi'. WW
