Never in balance over the years, I opened my last bottle tonight. Still a very youthful dark ruby with black fruit aromas. Lush black fruit greets the palate then is slammed down by hard, drying tannins. A little cedar on the long, dry finish. The fruit is never going to win the tannin battle here.
