Friday meeting of the gang for lunch so took this for my repast. The bullies made me share as they dint' bring enny fer them-very-own-selves. SHEESH!. Opened and poured. Thot the hummer was a DD. Very little nose, fruit hidden, and generally dissapointing as all get-out. I was really blind-sided as I'd opened my last 750 a month earlier and it was a killer. Whilst they were cooking up our Turket Panninis and Buffalo Mozzarella/heirloom tomatoe plates we knoshed on various cheeses, cornichons, kalmata and stuffed olives. We repaired beck to Dans' pride and joy in 45 minutes and smiles were every-where. Can't believe an older merlot first of all going into hiding likr that, and secondly, having every thing show up with a little airing.Seen it happen a lot with cabs but 1st time with a merlot. Turned out to be what it was supposed to be, the extra two bottles we ordered in the interim were duly consumed, and we be happy campers.I was so mad I forgot to make any mental notes... All I can remember was it turned out well.WW
