Tasted this from our rep yesterday. Absolutely beautiful; hands down the best Merlot I've been tasted on this year. Pricey, though - about $44.99 here in our joint.

Here's the info from his website.
The grapes used to craft the Steele Stymie Founderâ€™s Reserve Merlot were grown by Floyd and Jolene Silva in their Shady Rest Vineyard. The Shady Rest Vineyard is located on a gravelly bench, overlooking the Big Valley area of Lake County. An ideal location for growing Merlot vines.

Thanks KC. I've had a Lake County Zin from Steele but thought he might have been sourcing these grapes from Washington.
