- Georgie - 11-16-2003 My. my, I do love this wine. It's fruity, kind of sweet and crisp at the same time. Had it tonight with roast chicken, although I have to admit I'd polished off two glasses before the chicken ever came out of the oven! Goes down way too easily! - quijote - 11-16-2003 Georgie, is this wine oaky at all? Sounds like it isn't, but I just want to check. About how much does it sell for? - Georgie - 11-17-2003 Not oaky. I bought a case of it and paid about 6.00 a bottle. I priced it in NC at $6.99 I think. We're talkin' cheap! Cheap is associated with plonk. - wondersofwine - 11-17-2003 I didn't like the Rosemount Traminer Riesling but then, different strokes for different folks. - megawill - 11-18-2003 I enjoy this 'inexpensive' wine on occassion too... --- megawill |
