This one was a disappointment for me starting with the goofy closure to the wine. It's got this 1" all plastic stopper top closure that is sealed by a plastic ribbon that encircles the mouth of the bottle. The wine is goopy, candied blackberry flavors that are so smooth it shows flabbiness. It's 15% Alcohol is completely hidden. Couldn't tell you what to pair it with...it's an ugly wine from Woop Woop. $10

Too bad. Have enjoyed earlier vintages. This is just one of a good sized handful of wines from Oz that seem to have climbed on the slippery slope. Howerver last week (July 6) Dan Berger devoted almost his whole newsletter to "Aussie Resurgence." The articles seem to concentrate on the top and the bottom, and the problems seem to me to be in the middle.
