2003 Blue Tongue, South Eastern Augtralia, Chardonnay ($6.99 local supermarket). Alcohol level 13%. This white wine does not turn your tongue any other color, but is named (for some reason) after an Australian lizard. Bought it because a. we were having chicken breast in cream sauce, and b. it was the only Chard in a shelf full of oak bombs that promised only a scouchy bit of wood. It lived up to the advertising. Very crisp and fruity, and an excellent value. Matched well with the afore mentioned chicken (which covered up all the oak) along with boiled potatoes and salad. Very refreshing Sunday night supper.

Sounds lovely! I love a nice crisp Chardonnay. I will have to look for that when it gets to be 2803!
