Served after the ’66 Bordeaux, I was worried that it would erase the memory of the Bordeaux from me. Instead, this if nothing served to show the contrast between the two wines. Opulent, solidly constructed, super dark ruby garnet, nose, is full, ripe, dark cherry, coco, and plum. On the tongue, superwide expanses of cherries and berries, rich, and a nice coco persistence. Super smooth but medium+length surprised me (I thought it would be longer).

While a nice very modern wine (for a great price), however, when asked, almost everyone preferred the Bordeaux.
