A pale, greeny straw color with sharp aromas of apple/grapefruit and a hint of apricot precede a tight, crispy palate of green apples and slightly hard minerality. Dry and nicely persistent finish.

I believe I still have a bottle of this left. I'll have to check. Good wine, especially while out on the boat on a hot day. It does lack any of the secondary flavors usually found in a good riesling. But, I believe you hit it on the nose when you say "crisp".

What kind of boat, Mark?

Motor. I believe I remember something about you sailing in a thread a couple years ago. I like to sail; don't like the work. So, 18ft. Bayliner open bow. Small, inexpensive, and a load of fun. The bay is my swimming pool.
