Hey, all. Long time, no post. (Tight Budget=Less Luxuries. Surely wine should be considered a "necessity", right?)

Anyway, picked this one up to share with the in-laws after trying a super '02 at a company function. Hails from Marlborough. Incredible juice... passionfruit, a touch of sweat, complex, long and a pleasure to drink. There's a splash of semillon and some barrel-aging, both of which help this into the "wow" category. (They don't make much wine at Seersin, but they make it GOOD!)

Enoyed it with an apricot-roasted chicken with plenty of trimmings. No leftovers of either the food or wine to speak of.

NZ$24.50 for the bottle. http://www.seresin.co.nz/wines.asp
