This is only the second bottle of red I've purchased, after a very light pinotage.

95.5% cabernet franc, 4.5% merlot. Nice colour, almost a blackcurrant-like shade. Plenty of smoky oak on the nose, layers of berries and (not overpowering) oak on the tongue. Quite complex and very enjoyable. Tried a glass with a traditional Kiwi roast dinner at my mothers place. (Beef, which seemed like a good match.)Thumbs up from the in-laws as well... both of whom are confirmed red lovers.

Finding it overseas might be tricky, as it's very much a boutique winery, but I think it'd be worth the effort.

Skeeters Tasting Notes say: Well done, Mr. Harris... now if only your tasting room was open more often.
