I had NO idea what to expect from this wine. Western Australia and the Margaret River area in particular have, in the past, always reminded me of an area of green and furthermore just unexciting wines. This one is different.

The cherries on the nose are expressive at the least. Also some candied fruit and a touch of pencil lead. The palate has the same with much, much more. On the palate, the cherries are in all forms. Ripe, fresh, baked, possibly even sun-baked, but all red cherries.

The finish on this wine is lasting or in WW's words; a 3.75 lapper finish.

Will finish this great bottle this evening as I cannot put it down......

Sounds like a keeper. Will look for it on my return. WW
