- robr - 02-14-2006 Anybody tried this yet? I picked one up for about $13. Love the name. It's from S. Africa. - brappy - 02-15-2006 HI Bern, I have not had the '04 but did have the '03 a couple of times with friends. I never did take notes on the wine but did enjoy it. The over-all concensus of the wine was that it was a good QPR. Hope this helps some. As a side note, this is so far the only South African wine I have enjoyed. But that is probably a whole new thread. mark - winoweenie - 02-15-2006 Hi Bern. This super P/Q leader has been a favorite of the board for at least 5 years now. Good stuff. WW - Innkeeper - 02-15-2006 The "---in villages" is a new one that I haven't tried yet. All I know is that it is a red blend and "This label refers to the 25 milking goats Fairview donated to an AIDS orphans' charity in the Capriva strip." ("Wine Report 2005" p.231). - Drew - 02-18-2006 I've had the in villages many times...not bad but not worth the additional $ from the goats du roam bottling, imho. Drew |
