- winoweenie - 08-01-2003 Posting this for CB. Really, REALLY nice.WW ( Course she likes anything white and drinkable) - wondersofwine - 08-01-2003 And what did YOU think of it WW? C'mon, be honest. - Kcwhippet - 08-01-2003 Yes, ww, what DO you think of it? Your CB likes everything white AND drinkable? What a qualifier! I guess that excludes such as Zeller Schwarz Kat and Blue Nun, right? - winoweenie - 08-01-2003 No SWs' have traversed these puckered for 2 or 3 big ones. 'Specially stuff I buy for CB. WW - Kcwhippet - 08-02-2003 That could cause big problems when we're tasting all those Rieslings at Glenora next spring. - winoweenie - 08-02-2003 Only time I spit. Will bring a small stash of me-very-own-swill. WW - Thomas - 08-02-2003 There are a few Cabernet Francs and Pinot Noirs for ww in the F.Lakes, but I welcome his stash; I'll fork over a few of mine too. But ww, a lot of sparkling wines are white, and I know you have had some in the past 2 or 3--and there are many good ones in the F. Lakes; at the top of the list: Glenora's. [This message has been edited by foodie (edited 08-02-2003).] - Georgie - 08-02-2003 What are the laws about transporting wine across state lines? Is there a limit to the number of bottles I could tote home to NJ from Glenora? I do have a station wagon, after all.... - Kcwhippet - 08-02-2003 Fill 'er up, Georgie. - winoweenie - 08-02-2003 Champagne aand Sparklers are NOT, mind you NOT, calssified as SWs' in the weeners vocabulary. They are "Breakfast Enhancers." WW |
