- quijote - 11-03-2003 Another goodie from Marlborough. Lots of gooseberry and grass on the nose; not as pungently fruity as others I've tried. On the palate this wine unfolds like a good storyline--good balance and tangy fruits build up like a very nice plot. The fruit taste seems like a typical tropical guava or passionfruit with a dash of green apple--very savory. A "monkey-pleaser." Alc. 13%, $12.50.
