Had 1/2 bottle of this amazing $12 wine last night and I am speechless. I can still taste the vanilla coated berry juice. finish is smoother than I had hoped for and longer - 25 sec.
14.5% alc. but NO HEAT! very well balanced this is the best shiraz I have had this year. This is an Orgy wine. Did not have with food and dont know what would go with it. 91-93 points. this is a $30-$50 shiraz for 1/3 the price. Drink now but will stay beautiful for 3-5 years.

About two weeks ago I took possession of a mixed case I had ordered of 4 bottles of Marquis Philips Shiraz (Sparky Marquis is the winemaker) and eight bottles of Sarah's Blend, a red blend from his wife, Sarah Marquis, also a winemaker. I like both but prefer the Sarah's Blend. See also the tasting note on http://www.edassidio.com.
Sarah's Blend is a blend of shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, and merlot.

I bought Sarah's blend also but have yet to try it. I have heard that this is sold as export only (australians cannot buy this in austalia)is this true?
