anyone familiar with this wine? It's onsale at the local wine shope for 7.99. Wondering if it's something I should pick up.
I've never tried shiraz before.

give it a try. i visited the winery on my visit to aussie-land. i didn't buy anything to bring home but ya never know... an 8 dollar bet is one i'd be willing to take.

Of the stunning group of under $10 shiraz from Oz, the McGuigan could be the best. Wandered into a wine store in Mount Dora, FL last January while Mother was spending my money in a gift shop. The prop was pouring the McGuigan. I've been a fan ever since.

I've had the '96 and '99, and both were great buys for under $10. We had used the '99 (along with the Bonny Doon Domaine du Blagueurs Syrah) as our "house red" to drink on week nights and for when we have a house full of people. $7.99 is a good deal!
