- Drew - 05-20-2002 Had this during the Preakness. Berry and vanilla notes on the nose. Flavors follow with a pure example of Cabernet berry and vanilla. Not complex but simply perfect. Perfect integration of oak. Fine tannins enhance this lovely drinking cabernet with a long finish. An elegent and balanced wine. At it's peak, IMHO. 14%Alc/vol. $23 Drew - mrdutton - 05-20-2002 I've never been to a horse race, but the Preakness would probably be one worht seeing. Hope you had a decent meal with what sounds like a really decent wine. - Drew - 05-20-2002 Don't misunderstand Mike, we were watching the race on tv while carrying on at Ocean City. I've been to horse races but the Preakness ain't one I wanna see in person. Drew |
