Can`t remember any wine in my tasting experience that has so many dominate spices in the nose and palate. Clove, Dill, pickling spices, white pepper, and vanilla combine with red cherry, and soft grapey flavors to make for an interesting bottle. The only thing I remember was some of the early bottlings from Carmel valley or the more pronounced Martha`s bottlings (68-70 ) that had this kind of definative spice. Do you spose they brung in some funky Rhones? A definate experience. winoweenie
