Having spread my wings beyond California wines (living an hour from Napa is wonderful), I've recently "discovered" New Zealand wines.

I stumbled upon a Wild Rock Sauvignon Blanc the other day and tried it out after a day of yardwork. It was a very refreshing and crisp wine; very well balanced. Perfect for the hot weather and relaxing evenings.

I had never heard of these guys so went to check them online. I guess they're new to the US and are only available in CA for now but hopefully they'll get out into new states soon. Their site had a fun little online adventure game.

If you're in CA, I highly recommend keeping an eye out.

Cheers!

Ahh, didn't know they were part of Craggy Range. Makes sense for the quality then. I'll have to try the Pinot Blanc. Thanks!

Sorry, I deleted my post for a correction. Here is the post with the correct name for the wine:

Agree. We have been enjoying the Wild Rock Vin Gris, Pinot Noir Rose’, Central Otago this summer. See post on the Rose'-Blush-Pink thread. The brand is a second label of Craggy Range.
