We just got home from a cruise where we had the most wonderful white wine from Bollini Vineyards - unfortunetly we did not get the name of the wine. It was very light in color and taste with just a hint of fruity flavor - does any one know what it might be and where we can purchase more of it

Bollini, if I'm not mistaken, is a large-scale Pinot Grigio producer. Pinot Grigio most certainly fits the profile you have indicated, and you can find many bottlings of it at your local wine store. You should have no trouble finding Bollini, but you might want to search out producers like Mezzacorona, Santa Margherita, and Banfi. Based on your query, I can almost guarantee you will like these light, crisp wines with citrus, pear, and green apple notes. Now that I'm babbling on the topic of white wine, why don't you try some Sauvignon Blancs as well? A little more fruit than Pinot Grigio, and oftentimes a little less lean. Marlborough, New Zealand sauv blancs are awesome, and I particularly recommend Brancott (lots of tangerine and pineapple). Top California producers sell their Cabernet Sauvignon for $40 or more a bottle, while their sauv blancs are seldom even half that amount. Try Groth or Dry Creek Valley. Happy drinking!
