Hi. Was wondering if anyone could help with when the prime time to drink this wine would be? And taste notes, if available.

Thank you.

Colour: clear, dark and concentrated garnet (red).
Nose: intense with spice notes, at first impact, of licorice, leather, box of cigars and black pepper. Spices come out from a fruity base that remind a jam made up of berries and plums. There is also a light sign of ripe red pepper. Nice complexity. It is a very good wine.
In the mouth it's dry, warm, structured with smooth tannins. Overall balanced.

Drink now or still wait one more year or two.
Ciao Fabio

Okay, here are tasting notes after bthe wine has travelled across the Atlantic and over America:

Nose: Slight tar underlaid with burnt sugar notes, sweet herbs, anise, and blackberry pie.

Palate: Fat, sassy black fruits with limestone/clay notes atop and a sunny tinge that Parker describes as "brambly". Cassis and coffee showing, with a mocha thing in the finish. Lovely wine that can cellar for eight years, easy, but can easily be drunk now.

Open envy for Fabio, getting to taste it at the source!
