Popped last night for veggie pizza... subdued, not much there.... Vacu-Vinned and placed in the fridge until tonight. Brought out and allowed to warm to room temp. Then with cold pasta salad, slice of leftover pizza, square of Ghirardelli dark chocolate (60%). Boyoboy, what a difference! Color of Pinot Noir, lush dark nose, red fruit and spice on the palate, lip-smacking, can't get enough, nice long finish. Could easiily go two bottles at one sitting. 14.5% alc/vol and about $30 at Costco. WS 91 FWIW, more like at 93-94 IMO. Will test the old AMEX card's limit on this one! Should be a stunner in a few more years.
