Had this lovely wine last night at our favorite Italian eatery in San Antonio, Ristorante Grissini, for our 25th anniversary dinner. She had red snapper with oysters & mushroms in a white wine sauce, I had grilled amberjack with diced tomatoes & garlic, both with miscellaneous veggies in olive oil. Wow! The '99 is even better than the '98, with a soft floral nose and subtle green herbs on the palate. It was $30 at the restarant, but should be about $12 at a wine shop. I'll check tomorrow. I need to buy several others, so will probably limit my purchase for now to half a dozen bottles. Wonderful stuff!

It's been a while since I've had any Pinot Grigio..... I'll see if I can find this one. Thanks for the heads up!

Good luck in finding it, WC. It's worth the search! I don't know yet if my retailer has it in stock.
(Just realized I said "last night".... it was actually night before last, Halowe'en. How time flies when you're having fun!)
