Mentioned this one in response to another posting today, on a wine to have with salmon, under Talk with Your Moderators. We had it tonight with Mediterranean chicken, penne pasta and artichoke hearts. Clean, crisp, just a hint of lemon, smooth mouthfeel, medium finish; a pale straw color. Paid $10.99 retail. Of the few Pinot Grigios we're able to find locally, this is our favorite.

Pulled this same vintage, the '98, for dinner tonight with her chicken lasagna and green salad with OO. Wow! A completely different wine. Gone was the lemon, replaced with .... mangoes? Mangoes! Perfect with the creamy chicken with 'shrooms, garlic cloves, spinach, etc. Another example of a SW evolving with a little bottle age.
