A Veronese IGT wine.
70% Corvina Veronese, 15% Rondinella, 10% Syrah, 5% Sangiovese. A beautiful, elegant food wine. We prepared a mediterranian style crock pot roast today and paired the above, splendid. Dark ruby in color. Flavors of brite and dark berries, creme de Chambord, mushroom, pepper, spice and other earthy nuances subtly layered and interlaced with one another. 13%Alc/vol. $18

I Haven't tried it, but I have seen in one of the local wine shops so I might have to give it a try. One good one I have had recently from the area was Ridello Rubino. I'm not exactly sure of the zone it was from, but I know it had 'Garda' in there and I'm pretty sure it was an IGT wine. Ever had this one? My description would be similar bu t with maybe not as much complexity. It definitely had tons of flavor with juicy cherries and snappy acidity. One to look out for.
