2003 Opici Bianco, Vendemmia, Marche ($9.99 Micucci's Portland, ME). Alcohol level 12%. At first I thought we had found a new Italian "V", but found out that is is just a term for wonderful or something. It is actually 80% Trebbiano Toscano and 20% Riesling. It comes in an odd fish shaped bottle that barely fit in my rack, and, as you may guess has been coveted by my lovely.

Guessing that it would go with seafood, we had it tonight with broiled scallops and green beans almondine. We were correct. It gives you delicate shot of floral and fruity aroma that translates to your tongue tip It gave a dry, fresh, round, clean taste in the middle, and a crisp finish.

Would do this again if Bev could handle that much acid. We did love it.
