Can someone would be so kind to explain to me about the Amarone typing and that specific brand and year?
I would also like to know the characteristics of the following types of wines:
*Gallino Arneis Roero Piedmont 2004
* Benvolio Pinot Grigio Friuli 2006
* Pra Soave Classico Veneto 2005

*Castello d'Albola Chianti Classico Tuscany 2005
*Villa Antiorini "Toscano" Tuscany IGT 2003
*Morgante Nero D'Avola Sicily 2005.
*Barbera d'Asti
Thank you. I would really appreciate it.

Respectfully, you really need to do some reading up on the wines--how an amarone wine is produced (drying the grapes for ninety days after harvest, etc.--what distinguishes a Chianto Classico from a regular Chianti (and the blend of grapes starting with Sangiovese), what the proprietary wines are such as the one from Villa Antiorini and why IGT is on the label. If you are working in a restaurant, the owner, manager or wine buyer should be educating you. Also, the wine distributors who do business with the restaurant should hold tastings for the wait staff and bring educational materials. This is how you learn the wines.
