Another nice clean bottling from this reliable producer.Still needs some work. Just no excitement. WW ( Clearing some space in the cellar for the new shipment to go in the Tobin racks.)

Verne, are you sure you didn't just get it? The '01 that we both posted on came in the Fall '04 shipment.

Popped the '02 (listed at $18) tonight. It was definitely ready. As good an American Sangiovese as ever. Lots of black and red cherry fruit on the nose and upfront. Spice and Paso dirt, with smooth tannin across the palate, and a delightful finish.

Matched it with Chicken Parmesean, pasta with fresh tomato and basil sauce, and salad. Simply wonderful. Just love summer which ended today!

Brought the '03 that came in the Spring Shipment to a New Year's Eve party tonight along with a bottle of you know whose Syrah. The Primo was a good choice as it went with much of what was offered including chocolate desserts. We got halfway through the Syrah before giving up the ghost and heading home. And we made it! Happy New Year everyone!
