WHICH WINE WILL GO WELL WITH INDIAN PAKORAS

- dananne - 08-19-2006

What's in them? Potato? Onion? Veggies? Fish? It might help for the pairing. Also, how spicy? And will there be a sauce, like tamarind sauce or anything?

I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING AS DANANNE, BUT ONLY LOUDER!

When we go to our local Indian restaurants, we eat samosas, pakoras, nan bread, then one of many main course dishes. To go with this variety, we almost always bring a Provencal rosé. Usually it is a heavier variety like a Tavel, deep color, not the pale salmon colored wines. These particular wines are of course old world but there are new world variations on this theme. BTW Why does it have to be a new world wine?
