Dark ruby color, with concentrated fruit. Understanding Fred' wine making process clearly reveals the concentration of fruit. What is amazing is that this baby is really approachable now, but could use some cellar time. Floral notes, concentrated berries, earthiness, and slight citrus produce a pinot that has well balanced acidity, in particular for grilled chicken. On a personal note, I consider this winery to be a ton of fun. Its not filled with glamour, but his wines and personality overwhelm you with joy.
