Quite fragrant. I said a rich cherry nose with perhaps some Chinese or Asian spices and on the palate cherry liqueur (or kirsch as someone else said.) Others were also getting a whiff of pomegranate fruit. Still others said lavendar or herbs, mint or clove. Balanced acidity and alcohol balanced by the fruit. It would be food friendly although we were sipping it without food at the time. I would rate it in the 90's.
