Definately not for the faint of tongue. Brite deep ruby. Nose restrained at 1st but after 45 min loads of black plummy fruits, sweet spices, bread dough and alc are in in abundance. Nice entry, weighty center aand a solid 4+ lapper finish. The alc isn't noticible in the mouth or finish. Lovely massive P.N. that could use another 1-2 to resolve some lurking tannins. 90/90 44 on futures. 14.4% alc. WW

Doesn't sound like it is up Bucksnort's ally.

He scored it 94/95 or was it 49/59?. WW

Had the last of my 2 bottle allotment yesterday. Calmed down considerably. Let areate for 1 hour and showed some minerality along with the loads of fruit and spices. Still with enough tannins to carry it another 1-2 but was keen jes as drunked. Mite consider kicking it up a point to 91. WW

We really like all the Loring wines. They're not Bucko's cup of tea, but that's what makes all styles of wines so much fun. Everyone can find some they like.
